Soon he will begin production on the feature film version of “CHiPs” for Warner Bros., in which he’ll star as ‘Ponch’ and the feature “Something Blue” opposite John Leguizamo for Disney. It was recently announced that Wilmer’s production company, WV Enterprises is developing “PartyBuddies” with production partner Universal Pictures. The project is based on the life stories of James King and Jason Roefaro, who founded the New York company “PartyBuddys,” which offers its clients a type of fast-pass to a celebrity lifestyle for a night.

Wilmer also can be seen in the indie film “El Muerto,” directed by Brian Cox and based on the successful comic book created by Javier Hernandez. Wilmer stars as ‘Diego de la Muerte,’ a 21 year old, who is abducted, sacrificed and resurrected by the Aztec Gods of Death and Destiny.

Paris Hilton loses $60 Million inheritance

Party princess Paris Hilton is $60 million out of pocket after her billionaire grandfather - appalled by her jail term for drink-driving offences - axed her inheritance.

Family patriarch Barron Hilton was already embarrassed by his granddaughter's wild behaviour - notably when her home sex video was leaked on the internet.

But the 79-year-old considered her 23-day sentence last month the last straw.

"He was, and is, extremely embarrassed by how the Hilton name has been sullied by Paris," says Jerry Oppenheimer, who wrote a biography of the clan called House Of Hilton.

"He now doesn't want to leave unearned wealth to his family."

Lindsay Lohan busted yet again for DUI and possession!

No, this is not a repost...

It looks like our favorite screw-up is still hard at it. Early Tuesday morning July 24, Lohan has busted sor the second time in just a few months for DUI. Police say that when she was searched they found cocaine in her pocket.

Lohan was pulled over near the Santa Monica Police Department after she was spotted chasing another vehicle.

When she failed a field sobriety test, police took her to the station, where it was determined her blood alcohol level was between .12 and .13, well over the .08 legal limit.

The 21-year-old "actress’" arrest happened about 2:15 a.m. in Santa Monica, near Pico Boulevard and Main Street, according to TMZ.

Here are some initial thoughts:

Dumbass.
If you know you are going to be out wasted every night, then why not just use a chauffeur? Then you don't even have to stop drinking and snorting blow from the time you leave your house. An added benefit is that you won't kill anyone, so it is a win-win.
Chasing cars when driving past a police station wasted is not a really well thought out plan. You may want to reconsider next time.
Coke - When you get pulled over, lose it. It's small. There are lots of options. How friggin stupid can you be?

Mandy Patinkin quits Criminal Minds TV Show

Out of nowhere this week, Mandy Patinkin dropped the news on the CBS executives that he wants out of his contract and will be leaving the show with no other explanation other than "creative differences" between him and CBS. The president of CBS disputed this claim citing personal issues on the part of Patinkin saying "I think creative differences is a euphemism for personal issues."

Patinkin, who plays Special Agent Jason Gideon has agreed to appear in one episode in the fall which will explain his departure in the story line.

This week Britney, who was out house hunting in Malibu, decided that since no one was looking - other than that throng of people with cameras following her around all day - she would just strip out of her dress down to her bra and panties and go for an impromptu swim in the ocean.

So why exactly did Britney Spears cut her mother out of her will and sever ties with her? Early reports stated that she was upset with her for tricking her into going to rehab when she (obviously) didn't need it. I mean come on... who hasn't ... well... nevermind.

Apparently this breaking point in their relationship came from a physical fight described as a "slap fest" that occurred between the ever entertaining former entertainer and her mother Lynne Spears in June. According to Star Magazine, the scrap "left Lynne shaken and Britney more determined than ever to cut her mother out of her life for good."

This apparently started when Lynne arrived at Britney's house uninvited. An insider told the magazine "Lynne barged into the house and insisted on taking the kids out to spend some private time with them. She didn’t ask or suggest, she demanded! Then she began denigrating Britney’s mothering skills and losing her temper at the same time!"

This lead Britney to serve legal papers against her mother, but rumor has it that Lynne Spears is mulling a countersuit. When asked about the incident, Lynne said that she doesn’t completely blame Britney — she believes her daughter is suffering from depression.

What a shocking revelation that wouldn't be!

Young and pin-thin celebs may line the glossies at the checkout counter, but when it comes to Tinsel Town's sexiest, neither attribute seems necessary, if even desirable.

If Encino, Calif.-based polling firm E-Poll Market Research is to be believed, the average age of Hollywood's 15 sexiest celebrities is 36. And unlike the shrinking divas of young Hollywood--a cadre that includes Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie and the Olsen twins--most of the women on E-Poll's list have something else in common: curves.

Topping the list is shapely Latina Salma Hayek. According to the polling firm, which provides appeal rankings for more than 3,000 celebrities (both men and women), 65% of the U.S. population would use the term "sexy" to describe the 40-year-old star. To put that in perspective, the average celebrity garners a 15% rating on the E-Poll index. And there's no question she has her male counterparts beat: at 39%, Matthew McConaughey may top the celebrity men in E-poll's exhaustive database, but he ranks only 41st overall.

And while anything but ugly herself, Hayek scored big with ABC's freshman dramedy Ugly Betty. In addition to her role as the show's executive producer, she won over audiences as Daniel Meade's love interest and women's magazine editor Sofia Reyes. Off-screen, Hayek is carrying the baby of billionaire fiancé Francois-Henri Pinault.

She's not the only 40-something on the list. Fifth-ranked Halle Berry and 14th-ranked Pamela Anderson, both 40, made it, as did Elizabeth Hurley, 42. Hurley tied for the ninth slot on the list.

Rapper Remy Ma charged with attempted murder in New York

Although this news may be hard to believe coming from the rap community, Grammy-nominated rapper Remy Ma pleaded not guilty to attempted murder and other counts Sunday in the shooting of a woman in a Manhattan neighborhood known for its restaurants and bars called the Meatpacking District. (No, it is not a gay community)

Police found a woman with a gunshot wound to her lower torso early Saturday morning, as weekend crowds began to clear out. Three blocks away, officers discovered a luxury SUV owned by Remy Ma, whose real name is Remy Smith. The vehicle was involved in a single-car crash and abandoned, police said.

The victim who apparently knew Remy Ma, Makeda Barnes-Joseph, 23, was hospitalized in stable condition Sunday.

Hacked! Lindsay Lohan's naked pictures stolen from her computer

According to celebslam.com, a hacker is claiming credit for pulling these pictures off of Lindsay's computer and leaving a file on her computer telling her that she has been compromised.

When her publicist, Leslie Sloane Zelni, was contacted she said "Anything is possible.". Thanks for that bit of insight there Leslie! And... for the record, nice job in setting this up to give a little promotion for your client. Anyone who doesn't think this wasn't scripted behind the scenes in a meeting somewhere is naive.

Clay Aiken invovled with a woman on an airplane

No... not like that. He is still as gay as he has always been - if indeed he is of course. Far be it from this blog to speculate on such a thing! Former "American Idol" singer Clay Aiken was apparently involved however, in a disturbance with another passenger Saturday while on an airplane headed to Tulsa International Airport. The dispute occurred on a Continental Airlines flight between a woman and a man, whom FBI Special Agent Gary Johnson confirmed was a former "American Idol" contestant.
Aiken, who was a runner-up on the TV talent show in 2003, was headed to Tulsa Saturday for a performance at the Brady Theater. His management could not be reached for comment Saturday afternoon.

Johnson said he was told the dispute was over the male passenger's foot resting on another passenger's armrest. He said the disturbance was a minor one.

Britney has posted an apology on her website directed to the paparazzi who's car she attacked with an umbrella during one of her more "batshit crazy" moments.

"I apologize to the pap for a stunt that was done 4 months ago regarding an umbrella. I was preparing my character for a role in a movie where the husband never plays his part so they switch places accidentally. I take all my roles very seriously and got a little carried away. Unfortunately I didn't get the part."

Ummm.... what?

David Hasselhoff demands apology for story claiming he was drunk

David Hasselhoff has demanded an apology from a British tabloid for publishing a story that claimed he was drunk at a Hollywood nightclub while celebrating his victory in a child custody battle.

Hasselhoff, star of TV's "Baywatch" and "Knight Rider," was awarded custody of his daughters Hayley, 14, and Taylor, 17, by a Los Angeles judge on June 15. The 54-year-old actor had been in a long-running legal battle with ex-wife Pamela Bach.

The Sun's story, published Tuesday, claimed a "boozy" Hasselhoff was knocking over tables and demanding drinks from strangers at Les Deux nightclub in Hollywood.

Mika Brzezinski attempts to burn, and then ultimately shreds the paper with the news story about Paris Hilton. The irony? She makes the news with a story about protesting a non-news story. The circle is complete.

Paris Hilton's car is repossessed... but at least she has a new job offer!

Paris Hilton's car has been repossessed after she failed to make the last two payments, it has been reported.

The hotel heiress, who is serving a 45-day jail sentence for driving with a suspended licence, will be shocked to learn that her Mercedes - allegedly worth a staggering $500,000 - has been towed away.

A source at the recovery lot where the impressive vehicle is being held told Australia's New Weekly magazine, "When we learned it was Paris' car, we were shocked. She must have been so distracted with everything else, she forgot to pay her bills!"

Meanwhile, Paris has been invited to pose for Playboy!

Paul Reubens returns, again.

He and his perennially adolescent alter ego Pee-wee Herman vanished from public view a while back. Legal troubles, you'll recall.

But Pee-wee re-emerged this month for the first time in 15 years, making a surprise appearance at Spike TV's Guys Choice Awards. And Reubens began his latest resurgence last summer with a spate of TV guest-star and film roles that have drawn kudos from critics.

"I feel like I'm on my third or fourth comeback, at least," says Reubens, whose close-cropped haircut and twinkling eyes belie his 54 years.

Book rights of O.J. Simpson's 'If I Did It' go to victims dad

A federal bankruptcy judge Friday awarded Ron Goldman’s family the rights to O.J. Simpson’s canceled book, “If I Did It,” which the Goldmans want to rename “Confessions of a Double Murderer.”

Goldman was slain along with Simpson’s ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson in 1994. The Goldmans want the book’s proceeds included as part of a nearly $33.5 million civil jury award they have been trying to collect for almost a decade.

The ruling “ensures that Mr. Simpson will never see another dime from this book,” said Paul Battista, an attorney for the Goldman family. U.S. Bankruptcy Judge A. Jay Cristol ruled that Lorraine Brooke Associates, which owned the rights to the book, can be considered as belonging to the former football star. The company is run by Simpson’s daughter, Arnelle.

Lindsay Lohan being sued over 2005 crash

Remember that crash a few years ago when Lindsay did a u-turn into the side of a delivery van? Well, apparently Raymundo Ortega does and he feels that van had at least $200,000 of damage done to it. Last month he filed a lawsuit for $3,624.84, but walked away from it feeling so inspired that he bumped the dollar value up a hair. Ortega says that the actress was under the influence of alcohol when she crashed her car into his van on Oct. 4, 2005 even though officers on the scene determined that it did not appear Lohan was responsible for the crash. The lawuit also names The Ivy restaurant as a defendant, contending that its staff gave Lohan alcoholic drinks despite her underage status. Yeah Raymundo.... good luck with all that.

Jennifer Aniston is adopting a baby

After apparently being inspired by Sheryl Crow after seeing her with her new baby boy Wyatt, Jennifer Anniston has apparently decided to adopt a baby.

A friend of the actress said: 'Jen has been thinking about adopting for a while. But after seeing Sheryl and her son Wyatt together, Jen didn't know why she was still waiting.'

In an instant she is going from single to a family of 3 with boyfriend/model Paul Sculfor, who reportedly moved into her Malibu home this week and Jen is reportedly 'happier and more excited than she has veer been in her life'.
